Explore Spain's rich culture while living in Seville, the capital of Spain's Andalucía region. While on this program, students will take an FSU academic course through FSU's approved partner, CEA CAPA Seville. Learn about local culture through the lens of Hispanic cinema or by exploring the food & gastronomy of Seville. There is an opportunity to participate in optional Spanish workshops to learn practical language skills useful for navigating daily life. Students will have free time to explore the city’s famous plazas, narrow streets, and beautifully landscaped parks.

Eligibility

This program is open to all interested undergraduate students who will be 18 or older on the program start date. All participants are required to have a working cell phone with cellular service & data during program dates.

Housing

Program housing is in double occupancy residence hall style housing in the historic city center. Amenities include access to fully equipped kitchens, shared lounge space & pool, wi-fi, and laundry facilities. Overnight guests are not allowed in program housing.

Excursions & Group Activities

Plans may change due to unexpected events and/or new opportunities. Immersion and social events planned for this program may include:

  • Visit to the Royal Alcázar of Seville
  • Guided visit of Seville Cathedral
  • Cooking & flamenco workshops
  • Daytrip to a nearby city such as Córdoba or Cádiz
  • Overnight excursion to Granada & the Alhambra
