This course provides advanced practice in different forms of writing and editing. Students read, write, and theorize about what it means to compose in multiple contexts. Students compose and edit texts for a wide range of audiences. Building on these discussions, students conceptualize, draft, edit, and publish a travel magazine about Florence and Tuscany. Through a series of place-based writing practices, all initial drafting will occur in the places we visit like cafés, markets, museums, and trains.
