Human Rights
Pristina, Kosovo | Summer
Travel to Kosovo's capital of Pristina, an economic hub in Europe's newest democracy. Learn about the human rights movement in Kosovo through lectures on the history and human rights efforts of the country and through visits with numerous stakeholders from the local human rights community. Past examples of immersive learning experiences on this program include meetings with governmental leaders, conversations with therapists at a local torture treatment center, visits to NGOs that work with human trafficking victims, and lectures from stakeholders of the UN and EU.
