Global Business Seminar
London, England | Spring Break

Experience London as your classroom while gaining firsthand insight into business on a global scale. Explore how businesses operate in an interconnected world through corporate visits to leading organizations, conversations with international business leaders, and exposure to London's dynamic financial and governmental centers. Beyond the boardroom, immerse yourself in the city's rich cultural heritage through guided tours of iconic areas. This spring semester hybrid course combines classroom learning in Tallahassee with an unforgettable spring break experience in one of the world's most influential global cities.

Eligibility

This program is open to MBA students or other graduate students in the College of Business.

Other Considerations & Requirements
Priority is given to students in good conduct standing with a GPA of 2.5 or higher; exceptions may be granted upon appeal. You must enroll in the spring semester IP section of MAR 5957 Global Business Seminar. You will attend hybrid classes (meetings online & on the Tallahassee campus) during the spring semester and will go abroad as a component of the course during the specified dates.

Note: Do not purchase airline tickets until advised to do so in the IP portal.

FSU London Study Center

Housed in a historic 17th century row of townhouses, the FSU London study center is located in the heart of central London's Bloomsbury district. The FSU London study center has a computer lab, library, admin offices, a student lounge, and more. Centrally located, the study center is the perfect hub for exploring all London has to offer.

Housing

You'll stay in shared hotel accommodations in central London. Wi-Fi and breakfast are included. You'll also have secure access to the FSU London study center building.

Note: Overnight guests are not allowed in program housing.

Academics

On this program, you'll study a focused curriculum with an FSU faculty member. Take a course during the spring semester and go abroad during spring break as part of the class. You’ll have the opportunity to use the city as your classroom through immersive academic experiences.

Excursions & Activities

You'll receive a program calendar before you leave; here are some examples taken from past programs of potential excursions & activities you may do:

Local experiences: Museum visits (including the Victoria & Albert museum), guided walking tours of central London featuring areas such as the Parliament and financial districts, and/or theater performance

Class visits: Corporate visits to organizations such as AMWINS and/or Deloitte, guest lectures from international business leaders and industry professionals

Finances

Study abroad is an investment in your future, but we believe the world is within your reach. When you study abroad with FSU, you pay an application fee and a program fee. The program fee is split into multiple payments. Most financial aid options can apply towards your program fee and payment deferment options are available.
