Due to the service nature of this program, upper-division social work majors with at least a 3.0 GPA and graduate students should first apply for the Alternative Spring Break program through the College of Social Work. Students in the online MSW program and those planning to enroll in a field internship in the spring semester are welcome to apply. Visit the College of Social Work website for more information.

Note: You should not apply or pay the non-refundable application fee unless you have been approved in writing by the FSU College of Social Work.

Priority is given to students in good conduct standing with a GPA of 2.5 or higher; exceptions may be granted upon appeal. If you are admitted to the program, you will be required to attend a number of evening classes before and after the specified program dates to fulfill the credit hours associated with the course.
