This course provides practical experience in editing, public relations, and other forms of written communications. May be repeated to a maximum of six semester hours; only three hours apply to majors.

ENC 4942 has been cross-listed with ENG 4932, and instructor permission is required to enroll in the internship. Applicants interested in taking ENC 4942 Internship in Editing in lieu of one of the program’s two required courses must email instructors Jack Clifford (jclifford@fsu.edu) for permission before adding the course. Students who need an internship to fulfill their EWM graduation requirement are given priority for enrollment. Typically, we accept three to four juniors or seniors as interns for the program.
