In this course, students will explore the interpersonal relationships over the life span with the family unit. Students will gain an understanding of basic social and behavioral concepts and principles in this course. The course emphasizes the developmental tasks, structural changes, and relational processes within families. Students will use social and behavioral science methodologies to explain these patterns and trends. By the end of the course, students will understand some of the complexities influencing interpersonal relationships in families.
