Course Description
In this course we explore the history of London from its Roman origins through to the 21st century and map the changing social geography of the metropolis. Our investigations of the city¿s history are based on a wide variety of primary sources; on historical and analytical maps; and on modern historians' interpretations, through both readings and lectures. Work in the classroom is enhanced with field work in the form of guided urban walks.
