This course includes creative expression and communication using a variety of black and white media.This course introduces fundamental observational drawing skills and techniques, focusing on the translation of 3D subjects onto a 2D surface. Students explore line, shape, volume, proportions, and value using materials like graphite and charcoal. Students develop creative expression while also improving hand-eye coordination as they explore composition through still life and natural forms.
