Welcome Admitted Students

Let us be the first to congratulate you - your application has been approved! We are extremely pleased that you have chosen to study abroad through Florida State University’s International Programs. Our programs fall into several different categories, and the information you will need to access in within your specific program type.

College Programs
The bulk of our programs fall within this category.  They are for students who are already admitted to a university – either FSU or another US college.  Participants spend one (or sometimes two!) terms or semesters abroad before returning to their ‘home’ campus. 

Internships
These are programs that provide students with work-based experience for which they earn academic credit.  They are located in one of the following cities:  Florence, London, Panama, or Valencia.

First Year Abroad (FYA)
This program is for students who are new to university.  They spend their first three terms at one of our study centers – Florence, London, Panama or Valencia.  Upon completion of the program, go to the Tallahassee campus to complete their degree requirements.

College for High School (CHS)
This program is for students who are currently in high school who will concurrently take FSU classes through International Programs.  They have an online component for the bulk of the assignments, and then a trip to either Europe or Costa Rica to complement their coursework.
