Job Description


The position is divided in to 2 parts:

  • Office/Administrative
  • Involving a minimum of 25 hours per week working in the FSU administration office, assisting in the planning and implementation of the program (NB weekly hours may occasionally exceed 25, depending on requirements of current semester).

  • Residential and Social/Cultural
  • Involving guiding students through the residential situation, enforcing housing rules, implementing the activities of the social/cultural schedule and promoting a sense of community.

General Responsibilities include:

  • Working in office a minimum of 25 hours per week - see above
  • Leading day trips, Paris and other social/cultural events (eg group meals, theatre events etc).
  • Planning and leading weekend excursions
  • Assisting students (eg with travel plans) and providing advice/ counseling as required
  • Adhering to and enforcing study centre and housing rules and policies, and promoting a sense of community.
