HOW IT WORKS!

Step One
Enrollment begins in the fall, and beginning in January, students will have a combination of web-based instruction, internet research, as well as some face-to-face orientation classes for students in the local area.  For out-of-area students, all information will be available on the website or by personal contact with the director and Spanish instructor.

Must have Internet Access
Must have Microsoft Word
[Upon acceptance, participants will be given appropriate information, instructions and FSU student ID number to access website.]

Step Two

From June 20 —July 17, 2010 students will improve their Spanish by listening and speaking the language that they have been studying as well as traveling throughout Costa Rica. They will be totally immersed in the Spanish-speaking culture of Costa Rica and use conversational skills in daily, practical settings. They will also visit additional sites and have exciting experiences (all in Spanish!!) that will give them a true insight into this wonderful Latin American country of Costa Rica! Spanish-speaking teachers will be traveling with them, and they will have the times of their lives—all in Spanish!!
