International Study Centers

London, England
Since 1971, FSU has been creating and supporting study abroad experiences for students who wish to immerse themselves in one of the world’s capital cities. Situated just yards away from the renowned British Museum, the London Study Centre strikes a balance between its historic Georgian architecture of the 15th Century and state-of-the-art learning resources. Students have easy access to world class design, media, financial institutions and entertainment. Please view the London Broad curriculum site for more details information.

Florence, Italy
Building on almost 40 years of experience in Florence, FSU’s study center is located in the Alessandri urban palace—just a short walk from the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, Accademia and the Uffizi Gallery. The location, curriculum and outstanding faculty provide students with unparalleled opportunities to explore Renaissance giants Dante, da Vinci, de Medici, Galileo and Michaelangelo. Please view the Florence Broad curriculum site for more details information.

Panama City, Republic of Panama
Florida State University’s first international campus opened in Panama in 1957. It has served thousands of students seeking either short-term study abroad experiences or associate and bachelor’s degrees. Located in La Boca, at the foot of the Bridge of the Americas, the campus boasts the largest English-language library in Panama, an island research facility, ample classroom space, computer facilities, housing, a cafeteria, a gymnasium and athletic fields. Please view the Panama Broad curriculum site for more details information.

Valencia, Spain
FSU's new Valencia Study Center opened its doors as the Spain program celebrated its 10th anniversary.  Students enjoy shared apartments, each of which has its own telephone, heat and air conditioning, fully-equipped kitchen, personal study space and washing machine. There is a communal dryer room in the building with one industrial-sized dryer per floor. Linen service (i.e., sheets and towels) and once-per-week cleaning are included. In addition, each student will have his/her own closet and a locking file cabinet with enough space for a laptop. Entrance to the apartments, and to the main center, is with a swipe key that will be issued upon arrival. For students choosing to bring laptops, the study center and the apartments are wireless.   In addition to apartments, the centrally-located study center includes classrooms, administrative offices, and a computer lab. Please view the Valencia Broad curriculum site for more details information.
