Belgium: Brussels
The Museum Experience
The rich artistic heritage of Brussels provides the backdrop to this exciting program in art and museum education. Belgium has fabulous food, the best chocolate in the world, and is home to many world famous masterpieces and museums. Students challenge their notions of museums by visiting a range of diverse museums, cathedrals, and other art venues. Each day students will discover treasures as they visit museums
featuring collections of all sorts, from chocolate to puppets to costumes
to musical instruments.
Students have the opportunity to visit two distinct cultural and linguistic zones—French and Flemish speaking. In Flanders, the Flemish-speaking part of the country, students will enjoy day-trips to Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, and Oostende (on the North Sea).

This program is open to graduate students, In-service Art Teachers, and upper-level undergraduates in museum studies.
